Delta Proust Side Table

Adorned in Alessandro Mendini’s iconic Proust pattern, the Delta Proust Side Table is a bold expression of color, form, and materiality. The vibrant mosaic - developed with Elisa and Fulvia Mendini (Alessandro Mendini Archive) is a composition of seven colors interwoven with two shades of white, creating a pixelated effect in which no two pieces are the same, making each table a unique work of art.

Beyond its visual impact, Delta Proust Side Table exemplifies the beauty of repurposed materials. Crafted from 100% recycled pigmented polyethylene (PELD) sourced from industrial packaging waste, it transforms post-industrial waste material into a design statement with a bold presence. Durable and weather-resistant, the Delta Proust Side Table is designed for both indoor and outdoor use.

Alessandro Mendini (1931–2019) was an Italian architect, designer, and theorist who played a pivotal role in shaping Postmodern and Radical design. A visionary in his field, Mendini challenged conventional notions of function, embracing decoration, symbolism, and emotional expression in his work. His designs spanned furniture, interiors, architecture, and graphic art, each piece carrying his unmistakable artistic signature.

Mendini’s contributions earned him multiple Compasso d’Oro awards, including a lifetime achievement honour in 2014. His legacy continues to inspire designers worldwide, ensuring that his bold, unconventional approach remains a cornerstone of contemporary design.
