The teapot has been sealed with a semi-matte glaze. The finish of the ceramic is slightly textured and uneven, and because each pot is individually handcrafted this texture may differ slightly between pieces. This is the beauty of buying handmade, your teapot will be like no other!
Note: This teapot does not come with a strainer, however most standard sized tea strainers will fit.
